Day 14-- Therapy Day 1

There were a couple photos I forgot to post yesterday. Darn pain pills make me so forgetful! I really appreciate all the viewers. I have no idea who is viewing but thank you. here are pictures of my right and left foot! Showing you what the scars look like after  7 months of recovery. Give you something to look forward to! Also Keep in mind that my last surgery was during the summer and I never was able to get in the sun! the doctor said that the scars disappear after a good nice tan! so I'm looking forward to doing that.

So as you can see the calcaneal osteotomy scar actually is nearly invisible already. the bunion one is that red because it's cold. but some days it's really light! also by this time your foot doesn't get a swollen so you get the bad case of zombie foot! it goes away haha. and isn't as freaky as these pictures make it seem. Also I really can't wait to have my summer this year! If you are only undergoing one surgery a year that keeps  you down for this long I suggest doing it in the winter unless the winter is when you have your favorite activities! Because it's a lot less depressing to stay inside all the time when the weather isn't great!

So physical therapy is pretty easy! by easy I mean very few things that you need to do! here is a video of my first time doing it this morning!

Thanks again for reading!

PS. I can't believe I almost forgot to mention the ITCHING again! You know how scabs itch when they are healing? well imagine that but on a cut that is way deeper! the itching is insane sometimes and the doctor had us buy Cortizone-10 just from wal*mart. So buy some of that and rub it around the cuts! or else you will be miserable!
