2 Months & 2 Weeks - Waiting.

I apologize I really should have updated before now. However, it's hard to post when every week it's the same old same old.

So after my last post I had my doctors appointment the next week and Unfortunately part of it was opening up. so he left the stitches in the rest and had the tape strips on the part he already took stitches out. GOOD news though I could finally WALK!!!!! BIG DAY BIG DAY. let me tell you. I don't really care to much about the cut if I can just WALK!

HALLELUJAH the day has come!

So Yes I'm walking. It's not easy.. it took me a few days to do it too. You have to build up the muscles again so when you get to this point EASE into it. After a few days it feels a TON better to walk on. Don't expect to be doing anything huge though. Walking in this sense is.. maybe a little cleaning (finally) and walking to and from kitchen,bathroom, door to car. anything more then just a little distance gets really hard. your body yells at you to stop.

Tuesday we went in and he took the rest of the stitches out and surprise they OPENED right up.. Great yes? Yeah, that's what I thought too. So we had to get an MRI.  He also ordered me a Wound Vac.

TODAY- We got the MRI back and it showed that I had sever case of tendinitis and a small tear by the incision. So what do we do from here? Well I received the Wound Vac. Waiting for the nurse to come and set it all up. Apparently it's something I leave on for a week and have to carry a bag around. FUN! haha. I'll be sure to post photos. So I keep the Wound Vac on for 10 Days. After that we are going to see if  1. It heals 2. The swelling goes down.

There is a high chance it could just open up again even after getting it closed... If that happens... SURGERY.. yep that's right SURGERY again that will make 3 surgeries in less than 3 months. WOOT. Oh well lets hope that we can just get this fixed. With whatever it takes. I'm just glad I can walk. Even after the next surgery I can still walk.

I wouldn't say the vac hurts. it's just kind of uncomfortable. Again I don't judge pain very well the nurse said that most people complain about it hurting. but I really think it's only mild irritation. She was also VERY confused as to why this was happening. said someone as healthy as me shouldn't be going threw this. haha. LOVE that everyone's so surprised.
