Day 62- Doctors Update/So Optimistic

This is hard.. so hard!! thursday I had my doctors appointment. this is the important part of the appointment:

Doctor: " I don't want to look you are giving me grey hairs!"

Me: "I'm giving myself grey hairs"

Doctor looks...

Doctor: "DAMN that looks good."

My doctors usually very passive so this is unusual for him. We also had to call and ask about the pain level just to make sure it's normal and he apologized and seemed to feel really bad about having to do all this. According to him the bone puddy is a very very common thing and has never seen this recation before. He also only used it because the bone wasn't quite long enough that they put in but it's fine without the puddy. i'll just have a little gap at the bottom. Oh I also got the plate! heres that:

so what this post is i'm just gong to show the progression of the incision from the original surgery to the cleaning surgery and I just barely looked at these myself.. they just amaze me because knowing what i know now you can see it in the very first week! It also gives me even more reason to believe that it is healing now and that I may be able to walk on Wednesday!!!! Which honestly i've been trying not to get my self all worked up for failure again but I think you'll see why these photos make me believe that this time is different/better:

Heres the first weeks from both

This one shows the progression of the leaking bone puddy up until the second surgery. You can see where it was eventually going to leak out on week 1 and week 2!! i had NOO idea though but now that i know it's insane how obvious it could have been.

Sooo i'm pretty sure that no one reading this can deny that my incision now is healing!!!!!!! I can't help but expect to be walking on Wed... it's hard but I really want it... and after seeing the first week from the last surgery I just feel like it's so much better... ahh...
